The medically certified Beurer IL50 features a powerful 300w infrared ceramic plate with a large surface area of 30 x 40cm and 100% UV block. The heating angle is continuously adjustable from 0 to 50 degrees. A built in digital timer provides a continuously variable treatment time of 1 - 15 minutes with automatic switch off after the set time elapses.
The deep penetrating warmth generated from infrared lamps is commonly used in medical practice for pain relief. The result is better blood circulation specifically targeted to the affected muscles. The metabolism is also stimulated through the use of the lamp and the body's natural defence system is mobilised. This then helps to support and boost the healing process.
